Partner with Hull University Business School and unlock fresh insights for your organisation
Oh Yes! members can benefit from the expertise of talented students at the Hull University Business School.
Oh Yes! is working with the Business School to give members a unique opportunity to collaborate with Hull students and gain fresh, research-driven insights, at no cost.
A pilot project, which has seen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Master’s student Hemant Joshi support our member Springfield Solutions, recently concluded.
Hemant’s study focused on the transport and logistics operations at the digital printing and packaging specialist, examining the carbon impact of using an in-house fleet of vehicles compared to external couriers.
We’ll be sharing details on that exciting pilot project very soon – keep an eye on our social media channels and website!
After a successful pilot, Oh Yes! and Hull University Business School are looking for expressions of interest from our members to take part in the project in 2026.
A pilot project at Hull-based Springfield Solutions recently concluded.
How does it work?
Over a 10–12-week period (February–May), students act as professional consultants, dedicating around 10 hours per week to your project. You’ll receive:
✔ A comprehensive consultancy report with actionable recommendations
✔ A professional presentation summarising key insights
✔ Access to innovative ideas and the chance to influence future talent
We’re particularly keen to support projects that explore carbon reduction strategies and sustainability initiatives, alongside other areas such as:
Market research and analysis
New product development ideas
Marketing strategy design
Financial performance benchmarking
Digital transformation audits
Supply chain and logistics reviews

Key steps in the process
1) Complete a Scoping Document - Your organisation starts by filling out a short scoping document to outline your project needs and objectives.
2) Academic Liaison - Our academic team reviews your submission and contacts you to refine the scope and match you with the most suitable students.
3) Connection Made - Students are introduced to your organisation and begin the problem definition and initial analysis phase.
4) Ongoing Support and Communication - Students maintain regular contact with you via your preferred communication method (email, phone, Teams/Zoom, or in-person) inviting your input and throughout the project. Six in-person check-in sessions with the Module Leader ensure progress is monitored and any issues are resolved.
5) Final Deliverables - At the end of the project, you receive a comprehensive consultancy report detailing findings, data, and recommendations, and a professional presentation summarising key insights and actionable strategies.
